Get in touch if there’s someone you think we should know about. 24-year-old hip hop artist Ben Caesar Le Roux was born in Goodwill, Roseau, Dominica, but has since travelled extensively, spending time in Amsterdam, London, New York, and currently in Cape Town, South Africa. Most recently Ben has worked with Zimbabwean mbira artist/singer Dingiswayo Juma and his mother, artist Gabrielle Le Roux, on a song based on the Dominican centenarians’ Living Ancestors project. “The experience has been transforming and has developed the way I identify myself.
