What makes Zandoli special?
The level of personal service you are given by owners Linda and Jen
(mother and daughter) and their charming staff is wonderful. They will
organise tours, take you to local markets and introduce you to a real
Dominican experience. Plus the food is outstanding and with only five
rooms it’s very informal – more like staying in a private villa than a
hotel. Where can we find you? Zandoli is located on the southeast coast of Dominica in Stowe on a cliff top 80 ft above the sea with spectacular views. How would you describe the style of the hotel? Homely. The decor is very simple, with Mediterranean colours of blue and white. The reception has a tiny bar and a verandah, and in the garden there’s a small plunge pool on the path leading down to the rocky beach, which is great for snorkelling. There are also lots of lovely trails within the six-acre property for guests to explore. What’s on the menu? The menu changes daily, and the food is prepared by Jen, who certainly knows her stuff and is committed to using local ingredients. Perfect for? Taking time out, escaping the crowds, starting the novel you promised to write, reconnecting with your loved ones and walking the many trails on the property.
