Rupununi Rodeo, Guyana

Rupununi comes to life with its annual wild-west Rodeo held during the Easter weekend. Vaqueros/cowboys and several ranches in the Rupununi area compete in events such as Wild Cow Milking, Steer Roping and Bare Back Bronco. This two-day event is packed with other activities such as Horse Racing, Pageantry, Dancing, Karaoke competitions and a Grand Bazaar.

19 - 24 April
Slalom and Freestyle Windsurfing Competition, Curaçao
This will be the third edition of the Curacao Challenge and this time round it will host the 2011 IFCA World Championships Slalom for Prokids, Junior, Youth and Masters. The organisers are keen to point out that for everybody involved in The Curaçao Challenge, it’s all about heart: heart for the sport of windsurfing, heart for the young athletes involved, and heart for the beautiful island Curaçao.

Captain Oliver’s Regatta, St Martin
